You’re going to love this DIY cutest Hallowe’en notecards set today! I think 3” x 3” cards are such fun to make – and receive! With so many ways to package them up, today I wanted to feature the new Mini Pizza boxes in the Holiday Catalogue. So easy to make a neat gift for a special friend, you’ll be crafting a few sets in no time! Here’s your gift all boxed up!

This Spooky Night designer series paper made the box front so simple! It’s a 3” design on one of the sheets. With 16 on one sheet it’s quick to make multiples! While I spent a little longer on mine – the branches are cut out – you certainly don’t have to to have fabulous results.

Many people are surprised at how sturdy the pizza boxes are. They easily handle these notecards, but would also be perfect for homemade goodies, Hallowe’en treats and Christmas morsels. At $1 each, the make wonderfully different gift holders.

I gave my screech owl a pair of spooky black rhinestone eyes and perched him directly on the branch. I added some splatters too with my toothbrush dipped in my Tuxedo black stamp pad.  And I actually liked the look of the stamped words on my tag.  The Memnto ink pad is a linen finish, not foam like the Classic stamp pads, so I picked up the imprint when I stamped.  (Normally I would reink it a few times to I didn’t get the lines, but here I thought it added to the spookiness!)

There’s tons of variety in the four notecards I built. So you can make a full set, just a card or two or multiples of one style. Here’s all of them at once so you can pick your favourite!

I admit there are a LOT of supplies in this DIY cutest notecards set. But take a look how your simple framelit shapes can perk these up. How many different ones do you see? How about the layering circles and squares AND stitched shapes…well, and the large letters too 😬! It’s hard for me to decide which is my go-to shape.  I guess if I had to walk the plank, I’d say the circles…buuuut, those squares make super little frames too!

My cat punch has been working overtime! You saw him in my simple Hallowe’en card a couple weeks ago. He’s so quick and easy to make a super card. Stamp, punch and adhere!

What’s the trick for the frames? Cut out a large stitched frame lit square with your Big Shot (one in black, one in Pumpkin Pie). Then position the next sized square inside the square and run through the Big Shot again…TIP: save this square and use them on your other cards like I did with this one!

This one shows more of the designer paper. One half inch strip down the side, then I fussy cut the two pumpkins and words. The mini sequins gave it a sparkly lift.

Can you see the cutout of the second black frame from the first card? It grounds the two circles and banner and picks up the jack-o-lantern’s happy grin.

To be honest, I couldn’t live without my letters. I made these orange ones using my technique for colouring glimmer paper. See it here! Washi tape adds a fun bottom border and the three black rhinestones adds some quirkiness.

Yes my list of supplies is LONG…however I’ll bet most are staples in your stack of supplies. If you need to add a few, a simple click will get them on their way to you.
