So let’s talk a bit about this card!

Don’t these cheerful colours just POP off the page at you? The Sale-a-bration Bubbles & Fizz paper (FREE until March 31st) is so darn happy, I had to use it for thank you’s. After all, what’s NOT to love about Calypso Coral, Lemon-Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight all mixed together with Basic Grey and Whisper White?

Recognize the “YOU”? The Celebrate You thinlits are another FREE Sale-a-bration item and are perfect for this card. I ran the YOU through the Big Shot several times in the bold colours so I could mix up my cards a bit.

While my cards are thank you’s, what else could you make once you’ve got the brush marker lettering figured out? How about “thinking of you” or “for you” or “a wish for you”.  I bet you can easily think up a couple more you’d make!

A TIP: Because the designer paper has lots of colour and patterns, my banner and the card itself add a spot of “rest” for the eye. Simple gray on white lettering with a grey card are not too busy and stand out much better than if we had lettered directly onto some patterned paper.
