Jo's Pic

I love what I do! I’ve been designing with you in mind since 1999 and I’m still having a ball! I’m a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Central Alberta and I get to be creative every single day!

My goal is to inspire you to get creative too, to pull out your pretty papers, inks and stamps and just have fun!  I know how busy your life can get so I focus on beautiful projects you can make quickly (although sometimes I can’t help myself and I throw in a few more involved creations!).  I post regularly on my blog, on YouTube and in my Facebook group, Design with Jo VIPeeps (Very Important Papercrafters that is!).

Come along with me and Stampin’ Up! for YOUR creative inspiration.

A little bit more about me!

In my “old” career I worked in high-paced business and accounting environments. I’ve served the public in education and municipal government, as well as in private industry.  But really I’m a “creative accountant” since I have a passion for all things handmade: beautiful cards, calligraphy, paper crafts, Zentangle, jewelry and other art.

To feed my creative spirit, I co-owned Personal Imprintz, a rubber stamping and scrapbooking store in Red Deer, Alberta in the late 1990’s.  As a result I sharpened my creative skills while designing projects for customers.  I had the most fun playing with new products, gorgeous colours and interesting textures.

Imagine my excitement when Shelli Gardiner visited my store when Stampin’ Up! was looking at coming to Canada!  I was quick to sign up when my store closed, coinciding with Stampin’ Up! opening their Canadian doors!  Their colour coordination with inks, papers, markers and ribbons was the perfect marriage for this type A creative accountant!

After 18 years, I am still thrilled by a new catalogue, a totally fun and unique card design or easy techniques with incredible impact.  Most of all I have never stopped growing my passion for paper crafting and colour!  And I have a much broader circle of stamping friends both with new customers and fantastic team members.

One thing has never changed.  I love Stampin’ Up! supplies.  The quality and range is superb and they stand behind their products 100%.   You won’t be disappointed when you shop with me and Stampin’ Up! in Canada.

Send me an e-mail or give me a call to join in the fun.

I look forward to crafting with you.
