When the new Lemon-Lime Twist In Color was announced in the 2017-18 Annual Catalogue, I just KNEW it begged for a white and black combination. And this was the very first card I designed. I was excited to use three of my all time favourite GO-TO tools in new designs:
- a pretty punch (the awesome Starburst one)
- a terrific textured impressions embossing folder (the cool new Oh My Stars)
- the very versatile Stampin’ Write marker (in new Lemon Lime Twist)
Jazzed up with some silver glimmer paper and basic rhinestones, the card came together very quickly. At the time, I didn’t have a big enough word stamp for my greeting (yes I have since fixed THAT problem!). So with that versatile Stampin’ Write marker and a journaling pen, I created my own. When you do so, you can play around with different sizes of letters and combinations of lettering styles. I wanted to stress the “thank” in thank you, so made it larger with my brush tip, adding the “you” in my own handwriting beneath it.
Here’s another peek.
