Cheerful Cards to Make at Home
Simple stamping and a great design equals an amazing card!

Which stamp set do you think I used for this card?

You might be surprised!

It’s the flower and greeting from the Nature’s Prints stamps!

I know we might normally only think of that as a more “artsy” and collage-like stamp set, it’s awesome for this design!

Let me share some tips about this card so you can see how this stamp set has lots of versatility!

Jo’s Design Tips

  • use only one colour of ink – it can be used for tone on tone stamping like you see along the bottom as well as the main focal point
  • add a contrasting colour (I used Daffodil Delight) and white so it pops off the page
  • colour with your choice of colouring tool. While I used Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake, you might like to use watercolour pencils, or ink. The choice is yours.
  • create an unexpected element. The banner behind the stitched circle (both from the Stylish Shapes dies you can also see in this quick and easy card here) adds contrast and interest.
