Was I right?  Sweet huh?  Can’t you just imagine them in Santa’s workshop furiously building toys for all us good little girls and boys?

You may not know this. But I have it on good authority they love working on Stampin’ Up! toys too! 😉

So let’s talk about my card and how you could change it up a couple different ways for even quicker crafting.

Super ADORABLE Christmas Handmade Card Making Ideas

Version 1

For my featured card, the focal point is a strip of the fully coloured designer series paper.  I love that the artwork is sized perfectly so you can get a 5 1/2” strip for the front of a card that’s so cute.  Can you see the white flocking on each of their hats or presents?

I’ve glued my strip to a piece of Garden Green and left room at the bottom for my tiny stamped saying.

Then I took the Poppy Parade background up a notch by embossing it with the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder before gluing on my strip.

I sprinkled my dots with a few Shimmery White snowflakes for added sparkle.

And of course, a few bits of rhinestone bling never go amiss do they?

Adding a coordinating envelope ties everything together.  I cut out one of the sign posts with my framelit, stamped the sign words, and glued it to the bottom left front.

My Tips for How To Make This Card Even Quicker

Version 2

  • Glue your strip of designer paper to the Garden Green and then to the front of a plain Poppy Parade card.  Or…

Version 3

  • Adhere your strip of designer paper directly onto your Poppy Parade folded card.

OK tell me. How you will make this card?  Version one, two or three?
