Colouring isn't so hard. What's the big deal?
Colouring itself isn’t so hard, I agree. However laying down just the right amount of colour, adding shading and blending and avoiding streaks and errors can sometimes be challenging. I absolutely love colouring and the feeling I get when I’m immersed in it! So much so that I took a week long class years ago in coloured pencils to perfect how to add it into my designs. Plus we forget there are many more ways to create both soft, subtle or bold and bright colours in our paper crafting. I’ll show you four different techniques through simple steps to add lots of life to your paper crafting. Plus I tell you what does – and doesn’t – work for me and I share with you my tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way so you don’t make the same mistakes I did years ago.
How much time do I need to devote to this to have my cards look like yours?
You’ll learn all about these techniques and designs just over an hour of easy to watch videos. I suggest you cut all your cardstock, watch all the videos, then try out the techniques and make one each of the cards. The supplies and measurements written tutorial pdfs lay everything out so there is no guesswork! Feel free to refer back to the videos whenever you need to or watch them again as you make your cards. Create your watercolour pencil colour blending template as you’re watching tv or chatting with the family. What do I need for supplies?
You are going to LOVE this! You probably already have the supplies on hand at home! I have one whole video devoted to the supplies I use – and I give you alternatives too! For the cards, pull out your own stamps, cardstock and dies – it’s totally up to you and the colours and designs YOU like the best! And if you’d rather use what I have, I’ve listed everything in my written tutorial to make it easy. If you live in Canada and don’t yet have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, you can click on my 24-7 online supply shop here to order them and have them arrive on your doorstep in about a week!
I've never done an online class. What do I need to be able to watch it?
Not much! Just your computer or tablet or even your phone (although you might prefer a larger screen) and a printer. Everything you will need sits on one page of my classes site.
