Want to learn how to make this double embossed peek through daisies card? It was a hit on my last Facebook Live.

Plus you’ll find some hints, like:

  • how to use Heat’n Stick powder to it stays sticky
  • a super way to add lots of glitz and shine to your cards, and
  • how to save time when you have both image outline and detailed dies!

Ladies on my Facebook live called it dainty. And so pretty. What do you think?

Double Embossed Peek Through Daisies
A beautiful way to say thanks to a friend!

Why did I call this a double embossed card?

From the two ways I used white embossing powder for the flowers.

On the solid daisy images I cut out and the outline images on the card front.

That’s one of the things I love THE most about two step stamps, which this Cheerful Daisy stamp set is. You can often use each of the outside AND inside shapes on their own. For pretty awesome results!

And you know what?

I discovered something about myself I didn’t even know when I was making my sample ahead of time!

I really enjoy making peek through cards.

How about you? Do you like them too?

There’s just something about being able to spy into the inside when you haven’t opened the card yet!

If you think they’re cool here are two recent designs you’ll want to take a “peek” 🤗 at!

This pretty blue double nested fun fold card, and this super adorable bright and cheery fun fold card.

How Can You Get This Cheerful Daisies Bundle?

This is brand new from our 2023-24 Annual Catalogue. And it’s been very popular. Partly because it’s part of a collection I think. But also because it’s featured on the front and inside covers of the catalogue.

And if you love a bit of a deal, the bundles are the way to go. You save 10% when you grab the grouping at the same time.

Let’s look at the set and dies here.

Four great sentiments in the super popular mixed typeset and script fonts. You can’t go wrong with this bundle in your stash.

Since the card has plenty of white, it might be a little hard to see just how pretty it is.

So let’s see a close up of those dainty daisies! The sheen of the tone on tone white embossing powder is beautiful!

But isn’t that gilded leafing yummy? So bright and shiny gold! A jar of the Gilded leafing will last you a long time! Even better share it with a friend so you both have lots to create this gorgeous sheen!

White embossing powder with Gilded Leafing accents – WOW!

I think we decided it was the light Bubble Bath colour which made this card look so “dainty”. It’s a true delicate pink. Think a little girl’s frilly ballet tutu, candy floss at the fair or the soft pink we’ll soon see in peonies.

We’ve been missing this kind of pink in our line up so I know it’s going to be popular!

Want to Make One Too?!

It’s your turn to give this peek through a try…maybe even with double embossed look too!

If you haven’t tried one before, give peek through cards a try. They say “look at me” or “open me quick”!

And even if you have other stamps and dies, I sure hope you’ll give this double embossed peek through daisies card a try – I predict they will look equally wonderful, dainty even!
