I LOVE the look of embossed vellum for quick card making. And as the season will start to wrap up (no pun intended 😆) quick card making will take on a whole new meaning! So make sure you pick up my FREE PDF right now to have on hand to make this lovely card.
This is the final card I treated my customers to making at my Open House and Customer Appreciation. I think it just might have been the most popular one too. You can see the other three designs by clicking on the following links:
- Gather Together fall design with an awesome tip for detailed dies
- sweet snowman hat Christmas greeting with a trick to use with your Stamparatus to save time and money
- lovely embossed Christmas pine tree punch gift tag (because it’s never too early to start making tags!)
Here’s what everyone made.
Well I guess that’s not completely true. With the lovely colour combinations in the Feels Like Frost DSP, some folks made one with Seaside Spray accents, or Night of Navy. The Highland Heather ones were just fabulous too.
There’s only two words for this paper. GOR GEOUS! 😉With stunning frosty photos on one side and bright and shiny silver designs on the reverse, it’s difficult to know which side to use!
Embossed Vellum for Quick Card Making
I fell in love with this really simple fancy fold design that Ronda Wade shared. It packs maximum punch, is a bit unexpected, and a cinch to put together.
Here it is opened up.
Jo’s Design Details
1.The embossed shiny greeting comes from the Everything Festive stamp set. It’s versatile and has some darling verses for this time of year right up to Valentine’s.
2.The multi-layered, punched elements pick up the colours of the photo paper beautifully. And every photo has many muted tones you can choose from.
3.A simple Seaside Spray metallic ribbon adds the final touch of class without adding bulk to your card for mailing.
