Easy fun folds are a HIT – try this flap fold card for a guy! Get my measurements by reading further and be sure to take a peek at my latest live replay video to see exactly how to make one just like it!
What is it about fun folds that we love so so much?
Maybe that they’re different?
Or is it that they give us a little bit of a challenge to make one?
Whatever it is, I know I love them too.
But not the really intricate ones so much. They take a little too long to make. But more importantly, I don’t want to have my card recipients need a set of instructions before they can open my card up!
How’s this one we made using the wonderful Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper!
Everyone got in on the act to make this card. From picking the background papers to the little flag embellishments, it’s a group effort! Come join us at my new time of 11 am Mountain time every Tuesday morning. Here’s where you can find me on my Facebook page: Design with Jo!
You’ll love seeing me make lots of little bloopers…and maybe more importantly, how I recover (I usually do :))
Flap Fold Card for a Guy
I love the mix of colours in this FREE paper! Just like tools have some bright colours, this paper is perfect!
This can be yours free with a $60 order while supplies last during Sale-a-Bration 2024!
What’s another bonus to this paper?
There’s a matching bundle on page 56 in the January to April Mini Catalogue! The dies will even cut out some of the shapes on this paper! How great is that?
Pick up the bundle or grab just the Designer Series Paper (like I did). Either way, yo’ll be making great designs like this one in no time!
Int he video I do give you a trick to add a little more pizzazz to these great images! Be sure to check it out!
Want to see another great free Sale-a-Bration item? Another patterned paper, but one totally for the gals this time? This Stippled Roses Trifold card will be another one you want to make right away!
Now let’s get to our guy card! Here’s the video – you know what to do! 😉
Did you see the tips?
- how to get the max use from the papers with images
- why you want to decorate right up the edges of your card
- and more!
You might not see how this is a fun fold card. So here’s the sample I made in advance with the card opening really visible.
Don’t forget to decorate the inside! This one is going to be a Valentine’s for my fella!
You now what’s really interesting?
I never realized until just as I’m typing this!
I put the same number of images on both cards. Not 4. Not 6, but 5! Use an odd number so it’s more pleasing for anyone who sees it, including you!
