Frequently Asked Questions

I'm a beginner and I've never made a fun fold card. Are they hard?

I break every card down into simple steps and show you ALL the steps in my videos.  I walk you through the details and make suggestions for alternative and ways to make your card making easier.  Plus I give you my tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way so you don’t make the same ones.

A couple of these look pretty intricate. How long will these take to make?

My class step-by-step videos take less than an hour to walk through all 3 designs.  Give yourself 20-30 minutes to make your first card of each design.  I recommend you watch the video, then make it yourself. You can refer back to the video as many times as you need to.  The supplies and measurements written tutorial pdf lays it out so you can start creating immediately.

What do I need for supplies?

You’re going to love this! Use whatever card making supplies you have on hand at home!  Patterned paper you’ve been collecting 😉, stamps, punches, dies – it’s totally up to you and the colours and designs YOU like the best!  And if you’d rather use what I have, I’ve listed everything in my written tutorial to make it easy.  If you live in Canada and don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, you can click on my 24-7 online supply shop here to order them and have them arrive on your doorstep in about a week!

How do I watch the class?

You’ll use your computer or tablet or even your phone (although you might prefer a larger screen) and a printer.  Everything you will need sits on one page of my class site so there is just a couple clicks.

When you’ve decided this class is for you, click the Get It Now button below. Then I’ll immediately send you an email with the link to get set up on my class site. All you need to do is click the picture on the class page to watch the videos or download the written documents.  It’s quite easy!

You’ll have so much fun in my easy-to-follow classes, guaranteed to have you creating SUPER cards!  My students agree.  Here’s what they love about my online classes!

I absolutely loved the card today with the alcohol backgrounds.  I have lots of Vellum and just can’t seem to use it enough but this is such a great idea. So soft, yet subtle.  You can be sure I will be sitting down and doing many.

I just wanted to say that you are a marvellous teacher in your videos, JoAnne.”

I also want to let you know how much I appreciate how you present your material. You teach without spending a lot of time on yourself or obviously selling the products. You are a natural teacher
