Pretty snowflake gift card holder to make for the holidays

Boho Blue and Night of Navy glimmer snowflakes surround your greeting. And a simple loop of iridescent ribbon adds a dash of shine!

The light blue wreath is “done in one” with a crop with the Wishes All Around Dies and some Luster Specialty Paper 161746 (a must have in your stamping toolkit!)

You might remember these dies and greeting from this post tips for handmade gatefold cards. I wanted to showcase it again and show you how easy it is to take that same gatefold idea and turn it into a gift card holder.

Set off a snowflake wreath made with the Wishes All Around Dies with a beautiful greeting

Let’s Make It!

  1. Burnish the folds in the card base with your bone folder. For the right hand fold, add a strip of Stampin’ Seal (or liquid glue or Tear & Tape) just at the top and bottom and fold shut to adhere.
  2. Cut the following with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (SCEM):
    • one large (3″) and one small (1 5/8″) Stylish Shapes circles from the scrap of white
    • the large snowflake wreath and one small snowflake from the Boho Blue Luster paper
    • two Night of Navy snowflakes
  3. Insert the large circle into the Basics ‘polka dots’ 3D embossing folder and run through the SCEM and glue the snowflake wreath to it with liquid glue.
  4. Add a little bit of Stampin’ SEAL and loop the ribbon in the middle. (Note you will need to also attach a glue dot to the ribbon to get it to adhere and stay.)
  5. Stamp the greeting with Night of Navy ink onto the small circle and attach to the middle of the wreath with dimensionals.
  6. Affix the three snowflakes as desired. Attach silver Festive Pearls to the middle of the snowflakes.
  7. OPTIONAL: Stamp small snowflakes in Boho Blue into middle of card.
