We all need this – handmade encouragement cards to make right now!
We’ve entered a new normal, at least for a time. The COVID-19 pandemic is changing our lives, restructuring our daily activities and creating health challenges for thousands. And with so many of us are staying close to home, either voluntarily or because we have recently been travelling, this is the perfect time to do what we paper crafters do best. Spread care and kindness one card at a time.
Let’s do that together. I have a variety of cards to share with you that will fit this time. Ones you can make right now and leave on someone’s doorstep. Or get into the mail to someone far apart.
Let’s see them.
Simple and cute!
Topsy Turvy Turtle
This first one was the favourite of my Facebook Group folks, the Design with Jo VIPeeps! From the Back on Your Feet stamps, it’s a simple yet effective design. One key element, the tortoise, coloured with Stampin’ Blends, cut out and mounted on a scrap of Basic Grey then a plain Basic Black card.
My colours are Light Pineapple Punch, Dark Soft Seafoam, Dark Granny Apple Green and Dark Mossy Meadow. I love how they blended together so well. Then I stamped the greeting with a Versamark pad then embossed it with white embossing powder so it would stand out on the black background.
A white panel on the inside of the card and…done!
As I’m going to share three different designs today, I’m giving you all the supplies for each one as I share them. That way you don’t have three long lists of supplies in a row!
Enjoy these fun cards! I really had fun making them, thinking about who I was going to send them to. 🥰Handmade Encouragement Cards to Make Right Now

Gang’s All Meer We’re Here for You
This sweetie combines a few critters from the free Sale-a-Bration set, the Gang’s All Meer. They’re also coloured with Stampin’ Blends and mounted on a matted set of hearts made with the Heart Punch Pack.
I also coloured one of our epoxy heart shapes with my Dark Soft Seafoam alcohol marker and layered it behind the scalloped heart frame. A Dark Pumpkin coloured rhinestone matches the dots on our cute ghecko.Gang’s All Meer We’re Here For You
Ewe Are Loved
This is probably my favourite probably because this is a little black sheep, but oh so cute and cuddly. It’s a perfect match to the sentiment from the Well Said stamps.
Once again, he is coloured with Stampin’ Blends. This time though, I used The Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party combos.Ewe Are Loved
