Who wouldn’t love a Holly Berry Tiny Treat Box with their gift tucked inside this Christmas?  These are cute, super quick and really easy using the clear tiny treat boxes from Stampin’ Up!

You don’t even realize the clear box is under here!  The Holly embossing folder quickly dresses up the Whisper White squares.  I cut them first and ran them all through the Big Shot at one time.  The green scalloped squares are Cucumber Crush cut with the Layering Squares framelits.  They are adhered with Fast Fuse so it sticks well to the plastic box.

Rather than go with the old standby reds and greens again, I mixed it up just a bit by using Rose Red for the holly berries.  The little touches of bling with the basic rhinestones catches your eye and will twinkle under the Christmas tree lights!

The box is 2″ square so the framelits fit on it perfectly! Here are the how to’s:

Here’s everything you need to make this box – except oops!  the box itself is missing!  Add one clear tiny treat box!

holly berry tiny treat boxStamp your greeting in Rose Red ink on Whisper White and punch out using the Classic Label punch.  Glue this to a scrap of Cucumber Crush and cut out leaving a border.

holly berry tiny treat boxUse Fast Fuse to adhere your pieces to the box.  It’s easier to do this when the box is still flat.

holly berry tiny treat boxUse glue dots to stick on your holly leaves as well as your greeting.  Here’s a quick tip.  Stick them directly to the roll of glue dots and then pull off to adhere to your box.  (Although I added the rhinestones once these were on the box, I think if I do it again I would put them on the berries here first then stick the whole thing to my box.)

holly berry tiny treat boxUse your Liquid Multipurpose glue to stick all your squares together (the Whisper White are 1 7/8″ square and the scalloped squares are 2″ square).  Glue your holly leaves and berries together.

These are the perfect size for a chocolate or two, a piece of jewelry or other little trinkets.  I hope you enjoy this project and will make a couple of these to wrap your gifts this Christmas!
