You don’t even realize the clear box is under here! The Holly embossing folder quickly dresses up the Whisper White squares. I cut them first and ran them all through the Big Shot at one time. The green scalloped squares are Cucumber Crush cut with the Layering Squares framelits. They are adhered with Fast Fuse so it sticks well to the plastic box.
Rather than go with the old standby reds and greens again, I mixed it up just a bit by using Rose Red for the holly berries. The little touches of bling with the basic rhinestones catches your eye and will twinkle under the Christmas tree lights!
Use glue dots to stick on your holly leaves as well as your greeting. Here’s a quick tip. Stick them directly to the roll of glue dots and then pull off to adhere to your box. (Although I added the rhinestones once these were on the box, I think if I do it again I would put them on the berries here first then stick the whole thing to my box.)
These are the perfect size for a chocolate or two, a piece of jewelry or other little trinkets. I hope you enjoy this project and will make a couple of these to wrap your gifts this Christmas!
