When I got my first pick a punch last year, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed.
I couldn’t for the life of me get it to punch properly. But I spent a bit of time playing with the punch, different sizes of papers and came up with some tips and tricks that seemed to make it work. pretty well for me.
Maybe you have one of the pick a punches and are a bit stumped too? And perhaps it’s been sitting on your shelf because it’s a bit of a challenge? I think I can help with that.
There are three you can choose from as of today’s date: Lovely Labels, Banners and Treasured Tags.Three Pick a Punches Currently Available

Although this card shows how to triple layer the labels so they fit together, you’re not limited to this type of layering every time. See how I used the pick a punch differently with this card and this card too..
Now let’s take a closer look at today’s pretty card.
Combine Bright Colours for Maximum WOW!
I used a colour palette on this card I haven’t tried before.
I loved how energetic each of the colours are. And I think the combo works here as the colours all have about the same vibrancy.
I stamped full strength (inked then stamped without stamping on a piece of scrap paper first) for each of the colours since I knew I would be overlapping them with the labels.
You could easily change up these colours for a totally different feel. Soft pastel tones would make an equally lovely design.
