Today I want to show you how to make a simple slimline card that’s colourful and cute! And doesn’t take hours to make!
The slimline card is super trendy right now. So you’re going to want to save the measurements I have below so you can make up batches of them!
This super sweet card is a snap with a teensy bit of fussy cutting…and your Paper Snips!
Now be honest…did you go “awwwww, that’s so cute” when you saw it? I did!
This Snail Mail designer series paper is ultra adorable. Cute critters, bright colours, lots of designs (12 in fact)! It’s a great way to send anyone, young-ish or older, boy or gal, a happy hello!
Let me show you how you can create cute slimline cards with only a few tools and a few minutes!

Now let’s take a closer look at today’s card.
Isn’t that little snail guy just delightful? Peeking out from beneath the cheerful toadstools, he’s got a little bit of sunshine for someone in his mouth. Did you notice that?
And he must have just told a great joke because his pretty companion is chortling!
Don’t forget about stamping your words multiple times for a cool addition to your card. Here I inked it up once and stamped it three times, varying the placement each time. The little ‘hello’ from the Best Year stamps is perfect here!
I love our designer series papers when they have big images like this. I can cut them out with my Paper Snips in record time. It really makes my card making quicker.
