Once you see how fast it is to make a reusable stencil, you’ll be pulling out every die you have to play with. And why not? They’re a super way to add dimension to your designs. Let’s see how one adds punch and polish to today’s project.

How to Make a Reusable Stencil with Die Cuts
I’ll bet your mind is just brimming over with all the possibilities! How many dies could you turn into stencils right now? Flowers? Leaves? Different designs? The options are just about endless!
How cool is this hexagon background close up? That pebbled surface just begs you to touch it!
How’d She Do That?
Here are the steps:
- Lay your new stencil on top of your card base, then use a sponge dauber to pick up some Versamark ink. Dab it all over and through the stencil onto the card.
- Lift up the stencil and sprinkle with clear embossing powder. Heat with a heat tool.
- And that’s it!
While today’s technique is heat embossing through a stencil, there are other cool things you can do with them too. Here’s another idea for you.
