Jo’s Tips for a Lovely Music From the Heart Card

1.Use a stamparatus and hinge step stamping to create a cascade of repeating birthday greetings. TIP: See exactly how to do this here. BIGGER TIP: each time you move the plate, move your cardstock to the left 1/4″ (one square on your grid sheet).

2. Start with a larger piece of Black cardstock, stamp and emboss then cut down a little bit to have the words disappear off the top. Alternately, place your cardstock a little ways down in your Stamparatus and ink your first greeting over the edge.

3. Use the same embossing powder on white cardstock and partial colour the image, picking up the colour in the designer paper. TIP: Use your Wink of Stella to pick up your ink directly from your pad. It will give a little bit of sparkle too!

4. Die cut your image with a stand-out label die like this one from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

5. Stick with neutrals and only one colour for a “calmer” card.
