Want to see a short video on how to make a handmade card with patterned paper that goes together really quickly? In fact, I challenge you to pick out a mass produced card in the drugstore aisle in LESS time than it takes to make this card 😉 !
Let’s see our design for today.
Black and white is always stunning for handmade cards. Remember this one from a little while ago?
But today’s is even more elegant by pairing the new Perfectly Penciled DSP with Basic Grey ink and cardstock rather than stark black. That’s because of all of the shading on this fabulous paper.
Is there even one piece of this paper, front or back that you can’t imagine using up? Me either! Whether you use it like I did for our card today, fussy cut some shapes or add colour, you’ll reach for it for all your paper crafting!
Now…take just a few minutes and you can see exactly how to make this card!

- the Classic Matte Dots in two colours
- a special angled corner on three of our panels
- a coordinating envelope
The greeting comes from the new, beautiful Happiness Abounds stamps. I love that the writing looks like you could have just done it yourself!
