Let’s see how easy it is to make your own gift boxes with patterned paper with my video replay.
And I’m using a brand new stamp set and specialty designer paper for today’s project. But first let’s see the sample I made before our live crafting class!
An ideal sized box for all kinds of goodies. This one is made with the Mosaic Mood specialty DSP. It’s the exact same paper I made this Daisy Lane trifold card with too (which was the most popular of my designs last week!). I chat lots more about it in my video.
Take a peek at it – and what we craft with together!

FUN NOTE: I was trialling a new application to live stream to Facebook, so keep that in mind as you watch!
Here’s another shot of the box with the tag and ribbon removed. What do you think of this colour combinations? Would you use it in your crafting?
This was my least favourite probably of the colours, but once I started using it, like I did with this To a Wild Rose card, it’s become a fave too!
Cuttin’ It Up!
- cardstock – 2 pieces 7″ x 7″, scored at 1 1/2″ on all 4 sides
- specialty designer series paper – 1 6″ x 6″ piece cut into 5 pieces: 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, and 4 1″ x 3 3/4″, plus small scraps for borders
This gives you a pretty good idea of the side decorative elements. This box has patterned paper that is 1 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ but I modified it for the video so you can make one box with one 6″ x 6″ piece of your designer paper (and still have a couple scraps left over😁).
Now It’s Your Turn!
Once you start to make your own gift boxes with patterned paper, there’s almost no end to the crafting possibilities. Every paper has it’s own appeal. Pick colours and designs to suit the gift-ee and they will hang onto it forever!
To add any of these supplies to your own stash, a simple click on any image below will take you to my online store. Then in about a week, you’ll be creating with this gorgeous Noble Peacock Suite.Make Your Own gift Boxes with Patterned Paper
Which One Do You Like Best?
a. the one we made together with the Noble Peacock suite?
b. or the one I made before the live video with Mosaic Mood paper and Butterfly Gala stamps?
Thanks So Much
Thanks for stopping to take a peek at my video. I hope it gave you a shot of inspiration (and a chuckle or two as I floundered through the learning curve of this new application 😋!)
