Make a Merci chocolate treat holder with my Live VIDEO replay. These are so simple and were a hit at my last Open House. I know they’ll be a popular addition at your next gathering too.
(Pssst, so popular, no one will be able to keep their paws off ’em! check out my photo below 😉)
Let’s take a peek.
My inspiration for these came from Marina Roth and I tweaked her design from metric to imperial measurements. I also wanted to make it work with the new Delightful Tag Topper punch.
You can pick up the Merci chocolates quite a few places – Walmart, SavOn Foods, Superstore…and they are yummy!
I made about 5 different designs for my Open House with the help of a couple great friends (thanks Mary and April!). This one with the Bird Ballad paper was popular and this was the only one I had left.
Let me show you just how easy these are to make.

Here’s a close up of the version we made together. Isn’t it fun how the colour and pattern of paper gives a totally different look from the Bird Ballad one?
Cuttin’ It Up!

Let’s See Yours!
Pull out some of your favourite patterned paper and your tag topper punches and whip up a few of these for your next party or holiday. Then send me a pic so I can see your design.
And if you need any supplies, here’s what I used.Merci Chocolate Treat Holder
Making little treats is one thing I really love to do. If you do too, see these chocolate cuties that are super inexpensive to make. Or if you love Ferraro Rocher, you’ll need to make a few of these sweet treats too.
Look Who Couldn’t Keep His Paws Off!
I had taken along one of these treats when I was camping last week so I could write up this post while we travelled. Look what happened to my treat when we were camped in the back of beyond!
Yup, those are little mouse 🐭 teeth marks. The pesky little rodent got into our trailer, into my Stampin’ Up! bag, then into a cellophane bag and chewed through the cellophane wrapping to get to the chocolate!
Hopefully when you make these Merci chocolate treat holders, it will be humans that can’t keep their paws off them, not rodents!
