Frequently Asked Questions

What does paper piecing mean?

Paper piecing is using small scraps, mainly of patterned paper, to create a stunning focal point on a. handmade card.  Such a simple idea but it’s how you piece the papers together that’s the key.  After years of playing with paper I’ve found a few easy ways to make amazing designs quickly and easily.

Will these cards take very long to make?

NO.  I have 4 designs to share with you and all the videos total just a smidge over an hour. You can either watch all the videos, then cut your supplies then try out the techniques or cut in advance and make them along with me.  The supplies and measurements written tutorial pdfs lay everything out so there is no guesswork! Feel free to refer back to the videos whenever you need to or watch them again as you make your cards.  Play with these techniques and have fun!  You will have fabulous cards that are one-of-a-kind in no time!

What do I need for supplies?

That’s the BEST part! I’ll bet you have ALL the supplies you need already!  Every design uses only a few pieces of cardstock and your stash of cut-up patterned papers!  Even if you have only one small package of patterned papers, you’ll be on your way!  Or if you’d love to always use what I have, I’ve listed everything in my written tutorial to make it easy.  If you live in Canada and don’t yet have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, you can click on my 24-7 online supply shop here to order them and have them arrive on your doorstep in about a week!

I've never done an online class. What do I need to be able to watch it?

Not much!  Just your computer or tablet or even your phone (although you might prefer a larger screen) and a printer.  Everything you will need sits on one page of my classes site.

When you’re ready to start, click the Get It Now button below. Then I’ll send you an email with the link to get set up.  After that, all you need to do is click the picture on the class page to watch the videos or download the written documents.  It’s very straight forward!
