I’m making a pretty pillowbox treat for Easter for my friend and all her family who we’ll be celebrating with Easter weekend. And I thought you might like the idea too including the measurements and supplies (below)!

Not always, but this sometimes happens.

I have a customer who purchased the Pretty Pillowbox Dies and was getting a little um…bored with it.

And so she asked if there were any ideas I had for them.

I have to admit I haven’t played with them very much either so pulled them out! And WOW, the possibilities!!

So, rather than have you think this is a boring ‘ole die, here’s a treat idea with an adorable little bunny made from different parts of the dies. (plus I showed a bit of some tricks for putting one together).

I shared each of them in my YouTube Live yesterday.

Here’s the one I made live with you.

Pillowbox Treat for Easter
A sweet Easter Ghiradelli treat made with the Pretty Pillowbox Dies

I love this idea I CASED from Jeanie Stark, another Stampin’ Up! demo. She filled the pouch with little letter openers but I wanted to give a little sweet. I found a Ghiradelli fits well, as does the Swiss Delice or a couple of the Merci chocolates.

To make it, I pulled in the Butterfly Kisses DSP which you can also see in this quick and cheerful butterfly card to make!

It’s bright and cheerful, but also has some great Easter-ish colours!

Look at all the fun little pieces you get with this die. Can you spot all the ones we used on our projects?

Even though you might think this die is only good for the actual pillowbox, there are lots of other ways to play with it.

Let’s see a close up of how cute those flowers are. Did you see the tip I gave you for the leaves?

The super super adorable part is this mini bunny! How sweet is he?

Since this die is a stand-alone die, it doesn’t have a stamp set it matches with.

Instead of that being a sad thing, it means you have hundreds of options!

Use anything you have! My words come from the Friendly Gnomes set, which you can also see in this cute spring seed packet gift idea.

If you’d like to get a sneak peek of what I’ll be crafting in my lives, either on YouTube or Facebook, I always share it in my email in advance. Not only can you get the sneak peek, you also get exclusive card making tutorials, contests and lots of tips to make your paper crafting easier.

Time to Create!

If you have the pillowbox dies, don’t fall into the “it’s boring” trap! You’ll love the versatility it offers by just looking at some of the dies a little differently.

Now’s the time to grab the dies! With the Annual Catalogue retiring soon, it might be something we won’t have available for long. Simply click here to pin, print or order it as well as the other items I used and have them shipped directly to you in time to craft for Easter. Thanks so much for choosing me as your Canadian Stampin’ Up! demo.
