Today I want to show you how to make a quick and easy gift card holder with patterned paper and a few punches! Check it out in my ultra quick video.

With 2020 being one of the first Christmases where I’m not hitting the stores to shop, gift cards are high on my list of purchases. And while I LOVE the convenience of gift cards, I don’t really love the packaging from the store.

How about you?

So I want to show you how you can add your own personality – and a dash of super cute – to your packaging!

Here is everything I used to make today’s project.

Want another ultra quick and cute idea to wrap up gift card holders? Try this one made with a plain old envelope and some ribbon too.

Now let’s take a closer look at the inside.

Although I didn’t do this in the video, you have the option to make a little notch. Just take your 1 1/2″ circle punch and make a half punch along inside BEFORE you glue it together. And while it isn’t necessary to do this, it sure does add a nice little touch.

Whatever designer papers you use, take a peek at the back to see what colours will coordinate the best. The Heartwarming Hugs paper I’m using is a perfect match with Real Red and Old Olive.
