This fresh take on a quick fall card to make with your Stampin’ Blends is going to have you reaching for your black and white patterned papers! It’s also going to have you feeling that tinge of crisp in the air as the leaves start to fall!

The bold black mixed with Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight immediately captures your attention!

Those falling leaves are just so fun! And you only need to colour a few with your Stampin’ Blends to get a fabulous design! Isn’t it awesome?

I used both the Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie blends, creating shading with the darker tones.

If you’re wondering where the leaf paper comes from…it’s from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack. Fabulous black and white patterns on one side and bright and cheery tones on the other.

This 12×12 paper comes in a whopping 48 sheet package and is one of the host items you could get when you have an order (or a party) of $200 or more!

These designs make it so easy to create wonderful items. I played with it for this quick and cheerful card too.

How about we take a closer peek at the card design and I can give you some of my tips?

Quick Fall Card to Make

Don’t you love that black & white gingham ribbon? You can never go wrong adding it to any card.

The greeting (which comes from the Sparkle of the Season stamps which I also used on this gift tag) stands out because it has lots of white space against the black and white leaves.

Here are a few things to note…

Jo’s Design Elements

  • A trio of tags are stacked one on top of the other so the colours just peek through on the edges. TIP: punch the Daffodil one from the matting panel before adhering it to the Pumpkin Pie card. BIGGER TIP: instead of using scraps, cut the leaves from the tags BEFORE adhering them together! TIP: I trimmed off the Daffodil tag so you couldn’t see it from the front. You could leave it and have the two colours along the bottom if you like.
  • Tie your gingham in a bow on the tag as well as wrapping it around the bottom of the tag (TIP: it also hides the Daffodil bottom edge of the tag!)
  • Swipe your Wink of Stella over the small leaves after adhering them to the tag for a bit of glam.

Now It’s Up to You!

Pick up a package of this oh-so-versatile (and wonderful) Pattern Party designer paper with a $200 order. Share it with a friend (or a couple friends) and you’ll have all kinds of cardmaking possibilities at a super reasonable price!
