You don’t need to be a kid, you only need to be young at heart, to get a kick out of this reverse fold kids birthday card! This sneak peek from the new annual catalogue might bring to mind some of our grade school readers! Remember Spot, and Dick and Jane? Did you love those books as much as I did? See if this brings back memories!
Sadly, if you’re not of my generation, you may not have a clue what I mean! However, you have to admit this vintage-looking set of designer series paper, stamps and framelits is stinkin’ cute! At first glance I have to say, it wasn’t one that said “Buy Me!”. But I have been converted! It’s just perfect for all generations!
I’m going to give you a spoiler alert on an awesome feature of the Birthday Memories designer series paper. Many of the images on it can be cut out using the framelits! YES! That’s what I did here. Both the fox and the banner have matching dies – and stamps! (I did have to fussy cut the hatbox, but hey you can’t win ‘em all!)
So not only can you stamp and cut out with the framelits, you can get right to card making in no time with a beautifully watercoloured image! That’s a real bonus for me. Less fussy cutting and a time saver! Someone was sure thinking on this one!
Super cute thanks for the fun idea love that lil fox and the red card really pops.
Have a great day!
Thanks Crystal! It is a super cute one – easy to make to with the framelits that cut out the designer series paper!
Cute card, This Bundle set is near the top of my list to order from the new catalogue! My favorite image is the fox, followed by the words and banner stamps. And love that the dies work with the DSP.
There are all kinds of ways to use this set and paper – it’s fun for all ages!
