Add some fun to your card making when you rubber stamp a Christmas wreath card!

Wreaths are a great way to invite the spirit of the season into our hearts and homes during the holidays. Share one with all your family and friends this year!

And this card is a perfect example of how you can use an ordinary stamp set just a little differently to create a beautiful holiday wreath.

Rubber Stamp a Christmas Wreath Card

My inspiration for this card came from our 2020 August to December Mini Catalogue! If you take peek on page 40, you will find a design very similar to this one.

It features the Ornamental Envelopes stamp set. Can you see which stamps I used to create my wreath?

So if you took a peek at the catalogue you may have noticed my card looks a little different.

What Did I Change?

  1. Instead of a flat A2 card, I changed it up into an easel card!
  2. I stamped on a light background (Very Vanilla) instead of the more rustic Crumb Cake.
  3. A textured background adds lots of interest versus the smooth one (I used the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder).
  4. I have a couple layered panels to ground the focal point wreath.

How to Rubber Stamp a Wreath

If you guessed the bottom fir sprig was the one I used – and the curved dots – it’s easy to turn it into a wreath.

All I did was ink and stamp it three times in Mossy Meadow , turning my cardstock panel each time. I didn’t try to overlap it, just started the new one right on the end of the last one. This is so easy to do with a see through photopolymer stamp set!

Create a Wreath Without a Wreath Stamp

Add the curved dotted stamp in red to mimic berries and add some fullness to the wreath. Then stamp and die cut the three little flowers and glue right on top of the wreath.. A slim banner greeting with some Wonderful Gems and a linen thread bow completes the look.

If you love wreath cards, here’s another one you are sure to enjoy.
