Today I want to show you a simple colouring technique that’s beautiful and doesn’t take hours to create!
Sometimes we’re in a bit of a rush to get a card made and into the mail. This one will save you time with the tips I’ve included in the video.
Isn’t this card pretty? I was inspired by Jacque Williams who is the creator of this Beautiful Moments stamp set.
The soft colour really pops against the solid white images. It’s even more interesting since we’re using the neutral Crumb Cake as our card, rather than white.
Simple Colouring Technique

Let’s take a closer look at today’s card.
Heat embossing is one of my top techniques to add to my handmade cards. I have a video sequence that shows you exactly how to do it yourself by clicking here.
And when you combine it with simple watercolouring, the results are stunning!
