Simple Embossed Card to Make with Forever Fern and the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder
A simple and elegant design with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder

When you have an all-over pattern like the Parisian Flourish embossing folder, you want to keep the rest of your card a bit…understated.

But understated doesn’t mean boring! This one has lots of glitz to add extra polish.

Look how shiny heat embossing makes your greeting and your leaf!

Let’s Make It!

1.Fold Calypso Coral card and crisp up fold line with your bone folder.

2. Insert the Basic White panel into the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. Glue to front of folded card base with liquid glue.

2. Stamp greeting from the Forever Fern stamp set with Versamark ink onto Basic White strip. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat. Add dimensionals to the back and adhere to right hand side of the card front about 1″ from the bottom.

3. Stamp fern leaves onto scrap of Calypso Coral withVersamark ink. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat. Add dimensionals to the back and adhere to card to the left of the greeting. TIP: Lift up the leaf slightly and add a little dab of liquid glue to the leaf so it will adhere to the greeting.

4. Make a bow with the gold trim and attach to a mini glue dot. Adhere to the fern.

Tadah! All done!

If you love the Forever Fern stamp set as much as I do, here’s another card (a tiny Christmas one!) that you might like! Or this one shows how you can decorate a gift box with the set and dies too!
