Have a giggle today with my Stamparatus techniques with the Happy Tails Bundle Facebook Live Replay. I had lots of opportunities for improvement and I’ve incorporated some of those into my blog post for you to benefit from my learning curve!
If you haven’t joined me for Facebook Live, come on in and join the fun. I come live to you every week on my Design with Jo business page usually at 4:30 MST on Wednesdays. I love to get group participation to help me design my project. That way it’s always a surprise! Everyone is welcome to join in!
So what are we making today?
A cute puppy card. This one has an easy and fun technique made with your Stamparatus.
Never heard of a Stamparatus before? It’s Stampin’ Up!’s version of a stamp positioner. And what a version it is! It’s heads and tails (🤪 sorry couldn’t resist!) above the competition. I tell you exactly why I think so in this blog post.
Using it allows us to get two – and three – dimensional. Let’s take a closer peek at that trio of canines.
Don’t they all look like they’re waiting for the food bowl?
OK, let’s get on with the show so you can see how to make these for yourself ! Then I’ll share a few tips I picked up to give you a hand…

Cuttin’ It Up!
- Real Red cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
- Window Sheet – 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Thick Whisper White cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″, scraps at least 2 1/2″ x 3″
- Basic Gray cardstock – 1/2″ x 4 1.4″ and 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- Soft Suede cardstock – strip 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
And we can’t forget the inside of the card. It’s just as important as the front with this technique.
Learn From My Mistakes!
I hope you watched the video. And I hope you had a little TEE HEE or two as I seemed to go from one challenge to another with this card! So here’s a few tips so it’s easier for you.
Over To You!
So, think you’d like to try this at home? Here are all the supplies I used to make this great design. A simple click is all it takes and the little brown UPS truck will be screeching to a halt outside your door before you know it!

Pick Your Favourite
OK, let’s see which one is your pick. Leave me a comment to let me know which one you like the best.
The trio in Real Red?
Or the trio with Night of Navy?
Or maybe this one I made after so I could figure those bloopers out! This one’s on Pacific Point.
Thanks for taking time to watch the video. Hope you played along to help create the design! My next Facebook Live is Wednesday, February 13th at 4:30 MST over on my facebook business page. I’d love to have YOU be part of it.
In the meantime, give your hand a try at these Stamparatus techniques with the Happy Tails bundle and let me know what you think.
