Tips to make a peek through Christmas card
Beautiful one of a kind card with a glitzy wreath and classy colours!

A group of us created this card together in my latest Facebook Live. You can find me each week showcasing a technique or product or cool layout live over on my page, Design with Jo!

Feel free to come see us and join in the creation of what we make!

Once again, my internet was a bit glitchy but I’ve edited it and think you’ll be able to see the entire design process just fine!

Tips to Make a Peek Through Christmas Card

Today’s card uses the Cottage Wreaths and Country Wreaths dies. I have used this set over and over again and don’t see it leaving my stash of supplies.

You can still pick up the dies and stamps, but they might disappear soon so I wouldn’t wait!

Click the triangle to take a peek!

Did you pick up some of the tips in the video?

Things like:

  • the best way to tell how to place your die
  • what I use to save time heat embossing
  • how to get your die cut to adhere to a rough surface
  • and more!

(Make sure you scroll back up and hit the triangle to take a quick peek to add these tips into your own paper crafting!)

What’s Not To Love About This Card?

The first thing I love is its elegance!

Not only that, the sheen and sheer prettiness of it.

And the ease with which you can change it up to suit a bunch of die and stamp styles 9also in the video! 😉)

Plus how can you go wrong when you mix up navy with white, or in this case, vanilla with gold?

I’d be interested to hear if you’re a fan too? Please leave me a comment with the MOST elegant colour combo you can think of.

If you’d love to see both this ribbon and Shining Brightly Specialty Paper at play again, take a look at this post about how to layer for stunning cards.

Here it is along with the sample I made. See how the same idea can look completely different?

(And be sure to check back here this weekend when I’ll share the last design I showed you!)
