You won’t believe how easy it is to use DSP for an accordion fold card! Hands down, this is one of the easiest fun folds you’ll ever make!
A piece of cardstock and a few small pieces of DSP and it will knock the socks off anyone you send it to!
We creafted this card together in my latest Facebook Live over on my page, Design with Jo. Have you visited there yet? Lots to see!

When we get together in my live you get to pick different parts of the card. So this is the one we arrived at together!
Don’t you agree the Countryside Inn paper is beautiful? Let’s face it, even if blue isn’t YOUR favourite colour, this mix of blues is spectacular!
You’ll find critters for half the sheets, florals and botanicals for the remainders, all with beautiful patterns on the reverse. I predict you’ll absolutely use up this full package and be wanting more! LOL!
This size card is just perfect for this die greeting.
You might have missed this die as it’s a stand alone one in the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue. I know I did at first.
You can find examples using it on page 35. You can also see how I’ve used it for colourful cardmaking with dies and DSP for one of my favourite cards so far this year!
Here are all of the wonderful sayings available in the Wanted to Say Dies.

I think I’ll have to play with the Happy Birthday greeting next. Something bright and fun!
One of the nicest parts to this die? The little elements like the stars present and bow and flower. They are just the right size to add touches of whimsy to your finished card.
Let’s get to the how-to!
Use DSP for an Accordion Fold Card
When I asked my Design with Jo VIPeeps Facebook community to pick a type of fold to make in our live, the accordion fold was the winner. So this one is easy…but just a bit different than you might expect!

See how quick the accordion fold is to make?
Take a closer look at that pretty little flower and my new favourite embellishment. The adhesive-backed Sparkle Gems are gorgeous!
