I have ornements from different parts of world that I have visited
My tree was special because every year we would give each of our sons an ornament. The ornaments would have a special meaning or memory for that year. They always enjoyed decorating the tree and reminiscing about the ornaments. Now that they are grown, they each have a box full of special Christmas ornaments and memories.
On my Christmas tree, the homemade ornaments made with love by friends are my very favourite. The invoke great memories & provide the annual hug when they’re out on the tree.
My ornaments that my 2 grown children made while they were in elementary school. I also started collecting red cardinal ornaments after my mom passed away 11 years ago. I love looking at those and remembering my mom.
I’m not often home for Christmas anymore so I put up a ceramic tree I made years ago, in ceramics. It’s not the typical green ceramic tree you’re likely thinking of! but it’s made from the same green-ware mold of that green ceramic tree. Mine is all white – shiny & beautiful, IMO! When it’s set up it “glistens” beautifully with all red “lights” & silver bead garland wound around it. I love it! If I’m home it’s a regular tree with tons of all white lights, lots of kid’s handmade school ornaments & other special ornaments collected over 47 years.

The Most special Part of our Christmas tree is when my Husband and I have a special ornament for each of our family members that have past on, so when we put each ornament on the tree together we always both of us share a memory of the person that past on & that is our special tradition we do every year
The most special part of our Christmas tree is the people decorating it. We don’t always have everyone home for Christmas but we decorate the tree together. The best Christmases are when the whole family is trying to squeeze in together to decorate the tree.
Always seeing the tree all lit up in the evenings when all was quiet.

The best part of my Xmas tree is that it is real very carefully sought out in the bush . the other special part is I have a special decoration for each one of my grandchildren and one for each one of my loved ones who have gone on before me!
Putting on the ornaments my mom made out of felt when my children were little! Brings so many wonderful memories! Both my parents have passed, children grown and I love this special time together.
The most special part of my tree is the White Bird that is clipped to a branch. This bird represents my husband who passed away 5 years ago.
The star at the top. It is a family heirloom handed down for generations.
The most important part of my Christmas tree that I love are the lights . My tree is up with lights on way before I get a chance to decorate it. It’s very calming and so much more
Each year from birth to age 10, I traced my kids hands and feet and made felt Christmas tree decorations with them. When they left home, they each had a set of decorations to take with them.
The best part of having my own Christmas tree is that it can be any color and I can make it feminine!
The Homemade Decorations made by those no longer with us, made by my sons & now those Grandchildren. They bring back so many memories! ❤️😢🤗

For me the special part is family together. The food is always awesome. Of course, I love decorating the tree and putting up the Christmas village houses and buildings I painted many years ago.

Every ornament has Sant Claus on it in some form – sixty years collection.
The special part of my Christmas tree is that ALL the ornaments are hand made. I made some of them, but some of my best friends have also made some as they know how much I treasure homemade ornaments. Even the popcorn garland is hand strung. Lol

The handmade ornaments we put on every year.
Putting up our Christmas tree is special to me as it gives me a chance to display over 250+ pieces of my hand picked collection of Coca Cola ornaments each year. It’s a labour of love as I remember the story behind each piece.
We have wooden teddy bears and each one has a family members name on it- including pets. We have a special ritual to place them on the tree, especially the persons who are not present.
I bought ornaments for each grandchild as they were born and every year they come and hang it on the tree
The most special part of my Christmas Tree is all the ornaments my children have made and the ornaments the children I taught in Playschool gave to me.
I don’t have a tree this year(due to space) but when I did have a tree up I made ornaments with my daughters names then grandchildren and then great grandchildren.
I love this time of year! Decorating the tree is always special because all my ornaments have a special memory of people in my past and present.As I hang each one I think of that special person or time in my life.
The ornaments the kids did when they were young. The kids are 35 and 32 and I still have their ornaments on the tree
We have two trees. A Twelve foot that is Elegantly decorated and a 9 foot that is traditionally decorated with all our family gifts under and the grandkids love playing with the musical ornaments on it. So much fun enjoying both trees.
The most special part of our Christmas tree is all our ornaments are school made homemade or collected since we were married 41 years ago. It is decorated with memories.
All the hand made ornaments from my mom (she made ceramic ornaments for all her children and grandchildren and great grands up until she passed 14 years ago), and some I made myself.
I love that our tree decorations all signify special happenings that have occurred over the years. Ie. Graduations, jobs, trips, hobbies. Some ornaments are 40 years old
