Today’s card is a bit more “artsy”, one you could give to just about anyone.
See all the different colours on the pears? That’s all done with Stampin’ Write markers!
While the main focus for the card is colouring the images with your markers, you’ll find I squeezed in a couple techniques you’ll want to catch in the video.
I have to confess! I love the Penciled Pear stamp set!
Anytime I can get ANYthing with pears, I’m all over it! I collect them.
So of course, when I saw this set, it was right at the top of my Wish List.
And I think it should be at the top of yours too! I mean, how pretty are all of these images and sentiments? The sketched look is especially BIG right now and this set does it up wonderfully!

Here are the supplies you’ll need to make this exact design.
Cuttin’ It Up!
- Old Olive cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ on the short edge
- Petal Pink cardstock – 1 x 4 1/4″
- Basic White cardstock – one piece 4″ x 5 1/4″, larger scraps
- Mossy Meadow cardstock – scrap
- Petal Pink 1/4″ Diagonal ribbon – about 5 1/4″
You know what one really cool thing about this technique is? No matter if it’s an image stamp or a greeting, a solid or an open line (like this one), you’ll have fab results!
