If you love easy, quick and uncluttered card designs, you’ve got to try this clean and simple Fathers Day card for the special fella in your life.
If you’ve been following me for a little bit, you know I love quick and easy card making. Mainly because I’m usually running out the door, licking the flap of the envelope while my hubby is sitting drumming his fingers on the steering wheel!
So this card is perfect!
You can make it in less than 10 minutes, start to finish!
Whether it’s for your dad, hubby, son or some other fella, make a fast switch out of the greeting and it’s sure to be a hit! After all, whether a guy is into fishing or not, this card just speaks right to that Y chromosome!
Look how clean this is!

All you need is a little Basic White thick cardstock, two colours of ink and your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss and a pair of scissors.
And if you want to get just a little fancier?
Add the cool paper on the envelope flap. You might be surprised to know it in the Fresh as a Daisy DSP! Can you spot the piece I used?

Clean and Simple Fathers Day Card
What do you need to do?
Simple Steps to Make This Card
- Cut out one of the tackle box dies from Thick Basic White then trim it down so you get this one strip. I thought it was reminiscent of a movie strip. TIP: To save on paper, don’t cut the entire piece, just the portion you see here.

2. Stamp the images and greetings through the opening onto the card base. The one little trick is the two-step stamp to fill in the feathers is Shaded Spruce. Everything else is Pretty Peacock. TIP: I just help my strip in place, stamped through and then glued it down. You can glue it first if you like.
3. Add three rhinestones to embellish! TIP: Place the middle one first, then one on either side for centred placement.
How easy is that?
