Here’s my question for you today: are your craft tools lonely?
Do you have a wonderful range of stamps, inks, embellishments & paper, all aging gracefully?
Are you great at collecting the latest and greatest “thing” to add to your stash and the cellophane hasn’t been cracked?
Do you LOVE to scroll through page after page of Pinterest, pinning awesome cards so you can recreate when you “get time”?
But when was the last time you played with those great supplies you’ve accumulated? Or are they collecting dust in a box, or seldom-used craft room?
Let’s talk about that today!
You’re Not Alone
I recently sent out a survey to my email list asking: “What are the top three challenges you experience in your paper crafting?” Can you guess what the number one response was?
Not “I don’t have the right tools“.
It wasn’t, “I’m stuck for ideas“.
The number one, overwhelming, almost-everyone-said-it answer was “I don’t have enough time to get to my hobby because of other obligations.“
Translated, that is, “I’m too busy to craft“.
There’s no doubt, we have fast-paced lives. We’re often scheduled to the MAX. Kids, housework, jobs, exercise…all take our time and attention. And by the time we tick off all our To-Do’s, we’re exhausted. Heck, just thinking about them is almost paralyzing.
So the birthday card we need for Uncle Harry winds up being a dollar store purchase, just so we can get it in the mail.
Is this YOU? If it is and your own craft supplies haven’t seen the light of day in weeks or months, I want to help you get out of the “busy-ness” and “lack-of-crafting-itis” rut – lickety split!
All my email subscribers have received my 7 Incredibly Easy Steps to Steal Back Your Crafting Time. And it may be just what you need to give you a push in that direction.
How do I know these tips work?
Because I was a great one for answering the “how’s it goin'” question with “BUSY!” And I WAS busy (or at least I thought I was) and exhausted almost every day.
But then I had an A-HA moment and stopped to ask myself the same question I’m asking you, “Are my craft tools lonely?” And yes, they absolutely were.
In addition, I realized a part of my exhaustion was directly related to not regularly getting my “creative fix” with my stash of crafting goodies. Or rather, not at all. (And let me tell you, I have A LOT of crafting goodies!)
So I decided I was the only one who could change that situation. For my own health and peace of mind, I HAD to. The result? I developed an ultra quick “shock-me-back-into-crafting” plan in only minutes a week.
And now, I’m happy to say, my craft tools aren’t lonely anymore! So, while yes, I’ve been there, right along with you…I like to call myself “recovered” (at least for now!)
But the really important thing is, I know these steps work!
So why not steal back your time too?
Join my email to see just how easy it is.
We all go through periods when our creativity registers a whopping 2 (or less) on a scale of 10! That’s absolutely normal!
But when we constantly put off getting back to fun activities – like crafting – because of other obligations it’s time to do something about it!
So I’ll gently ask again, “are your craft tools lonely? – if they are, my 7 Incredibly Easy Steps to Steal Back Your Crafting Time is guaranteed to help you get friendly with them again!
