Not only was this handmade flower birthday card fun to make, I got to use a bundle hidden away in my stash!

Are you like me? Do you ever make purchases and they sit in your bag, or cupboard, or box for months? Or even longer?

I loved the All Squared Away bundle when it first came out last May, and I purchased it on my first order! I made one card, and then I got busy using other beautiful sets and bundles so it sadly didn’t get the love it deserves!

But until March 31st, it’s now available at 20% off with our Savings are in Bloom promotion.

So you need to see it and how it needs a spot at the front of your shelf of supplies!

Here’s my fun card.

Clean and simple card made with the All Squared Away bundle

Not only is the colour for a flower card a bit unexpected. The flower itself is cut out of the square die! Why?

So you can see tons more versatility in this stamp and die bundle than you might have thought!

Here ‘s everything you get in the bundle!

Let’s talk about just some of the ways you can use it in your paper crafting projects.

Handmade Flower Birthday Card

How about:

  1. Stamping the Squares only across the centre of a card, or adding one only on the right hand side with a greeting over top?
  2. Sponging different colours with your sponge daubers onto the squares to stamp a rainbow effect?
  3. Using the words only either buy themselves on labels or with other stamps for a fun friend or birthday card?
  4. Heat embossing the square background in a soft pastel colour, then adding a darker tone to frame it?
  5. Dry embossing your paper first, cutting out your die squares, then using blending brushes to give it colour?
  6. Using only the dies to make a bold and colourful statement like we did in our exclusive Facebook Group the VIPeeps card making class a couple weeks ago?
  7. Mixing up the dies and square stamps together like I did with this card for my In Color Club last year?

There are so many ways you will love playing with this stamp and die set! And when you can get it for more than $6 off, why wouldn’t you pick it up now?

A simple click here allows you to pin the card for today or print off the supplies or get it for 20% off.

Now, what about the flower itself? What paper did I use for that glittery 5-petalled flower?

Make a pretty birthday card with the Ever Eden DSP

You might have thought the Rainbow Glimmer paper I used in yesterday’s tulip flower video. But it isn’t! It’s this package I’ve been gobbling up lots lately!

So many colours in the Ombre 12×12 Specialty Paper

You might think you’d be limited since there’s only 4 colours in the package. But no! There are so so many colours since each sheet has very very light shades that move through medium tones until you see the bold and darker colours! It’s fabulous to match so many of the Stampin’ Up! colours!

I was quite happy with how this card turned out! So much so that I’ve been thinking of even more ways I can use the All Squared Away bundle for card making!
