If you’re a pet lover and liked our post from the other day with the By Your Side Kit, you’ll also want to see our live replay of more kit ideas!

And if you missed it, be sure to catch it! It’s called How to Craft with a Kit…and Alternatives!

But you might want to get a few MORE ideas on what to do with the kit AFTER you’ve used up the kit contents.

After all you have a fab stamp set. Let’s use it to create some fun cards! Like these ones!

A set of cards you’ll love to make with the stamps from the By Your Side Kit!

Play with a monochromatic colour scheme like this one for super easy cards. This is Pool Party and Summer Splash and they play together beautifully!

The banner and circle are from the MUST HAVE set of dies, Stylish Shapes. Hands down, they’re my current fave dies. They really deserve a spot in your craft space if they’re not there already!

More Kit Ideas

Each of these cards uses a simple circle and banner on a background. This was a sketch from our recent Annual Catalogue Celebration. (I hope you took part in this free customer event! If you’d like to get in on the replay, register here!)

For variety, stamp your paw prints right onto the circle then use the banner for your words.

Then feel free to dress them up a little with the 2024-26 In Color Resin Dots and matching ribbon. (the background is also a page from the 2024-26 6×6 In Color DSP.

For an alternative, stamp the paws on the banner and cut out the circle and stamp your words.

Change up your orientation, switch out the ribbon placement (can you see it peeking out behind the ribbon), and only add one dot. That’s how you can get a totally different looking card…in record time!

This Was From a Kit?!

When you start playing around with the stamps and a few basic shaped dies, you can create endless cards! You’d never even know the designs are based on the By Your Side Kit!

But the trick is to not get too fancy. Keep your designs simple and lock all your fancy elements in their craft drawer! You can always use them on other cards!

And you know what? I’m absolutely sure you can come up with more kit ideas yet – have fun experimenting and playing – so let me know what you make!
