Did You Miss the Square Pillow Boxes?
I did at first.
These great boxes are in the January to April Mini Catalogue on page 8-9. I think they get overlooked since they’re all white instead of the bright and beautiful colours like you can make them!
Plus they’re the perfect size to hold a LOT of treats! And super sturdy so they can take a bit of weight.
They’re even food safe!
We’ve stamped on it and added a cool folded circle tag decorated for Valentines! Plus we popped in some wrapped Hershey Nuggets and red foil heart chocolates for your special Valentines!.
Who in YOUR house would love one of these?
Everyone on our Live got in on the action to help create this gift box and tag. From picking the colours to the stamps and ribbon, it’s always a group effort! And FUN!
We’re always happy to have new folks join us 11 am Mountain time every Tuesday morning. Here’s where you can find me on my Facebook page: Design with Jo!
Now let’s see a little closer look at what we used.
Pillow Box Treat Idea for Valentines
I ‘ve had this stamp set for a little bit but just hadn’t pulled it out to use yet. It did call my name though.
Like, who can possibly resist pizza?
It’s a red rubber cling stamp set (and yes you do need to fussy cut the images). But they’re easy to cut out and make sure a sweet design.
We paired it up with our Stampin’ Blends and the FREE Sale-a-Bration Most Adored Specialty Paper. 12 pieces of gorgeous gold foil and red, pink and white paper you can use for Valentines, weddings, friend, birthdays…just about any time!
Mix and match it with some mini hearts punches from the Bee Builder punch. If you’d love to see more of that punch, check out these fun bee mine cards.
In the video I do give you a hint about using the brush tip of your Stampin’ Blends! Be sure to check it out!
Now let’s get to our cute pillow box, treat and tag! Here’s the video!
What were your fave tips?
- the easy way to add colour to your pillow box
- why you want to leave a little bit more paper near your word stamps
- how to add the wrapper to the chocolate nuggets
- why you won’t need glue to attach your tag to the pillow box
- and more!
Here’s a few ore pics so you can see the inside as well as the sample I made in advance with other stamps in the set.
Don’t miss decorating the inside!
I also told you why I thought my sample was a little less “cheesy”…did you see that?
Which One Do You Like the Best?
The folks on my Facebook Live loved the one we made together – the pizza slice one. But I’d love to hear which one you think stands out more too?
