This best wishes handmade card for her uses some of the new Hues of Happiness designer series paper! Two words for you…GOR GEOUS!!
There are so many pretty colours at play here, you’ll have a hard time deciding which to use first!
I decided on this one!
When you such a wonderful piece of paper, you really don’t want to cover it up! So let it shine and add only a couple simple details and your card is done!
What I love about this card?
How easily you could make multiples of the same card. You’ll get 6 card fronts from each piece of 12″ x 12″ DSP. Times two (because you get two sheets exactly the same in the whole package).
And with all the pretties in this package, you could have your entire year’s birthday cards made in a flash! Or heck! What about making some wedding or shower cards? Even sympathy cards would be lovely with this paper.

Look at the details that make this card stand out.
- Lots of layers – first onto Highland Heather with a very narrow border, then a larger piece of Gorgeous Grape, then onto the Fresh Freesia card base
- Hidden edge of the Pool Party strip – it’s also angled to match the greeting. But did you notice? It’s embossed too! And adds another two layers
- Simple knotted ribbon – in Fresh Freesia (which incidentally is another layer!)
- Perfectly placed embellishments – how pretty and shiny are those Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots – Love ’em!
