I’m excited to announce my Brilliant Wings Blog Candy Bundle winner!

I have randomly chosen a name to receive this great bundle! (Pssst, in my eagerness to get this Blog Candy post up the other day, I had the name wrong! It’s actually the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle! Either way it is an awesome set of stamps and dies you will use over and over again!)

Participants left comments answering my question: What does seeing a butterfly remind you of?  Be sure to take a peek at the original blog candy post and all the wonderful comments by clicking here.

And the winner is…

Myrtle Gittens!

Here’s Myrtle’s thoughts of what seeing a butterfly means to her…”

“I love butterflies. They remind me of summer and the thought that butterflies are a “hello, I’m thinking of you” from a loved one who has passed on.

So happy for you, Myrtle! Please email me in the next 24 hours with your Canadian mailing address and I’ll send you the Brilliant Wings bundle!

And here’s another idea, this time using the stamps, heat embossing with black embossing powder and watercolour (my favourite technique, can you tell?).

Lots of folks think watercolour means lots of soft painterly-like washes. This card show a much more vibrant mix of tones.

Thank you everyone for participating and commenting! We all have lovely ideas of what butterflies mean in our world. Keep an eye out on my blog for future blog candy posts where you can win more great prizes like today’s!
