Today I want to show you how to make a watercolour card without lifting a paint brush! Yes, that’s right! One that’s beautiful and doesn’t take hours to create!
If you’re short on time or if you LOVE watercolour but just can’t get it to work for you, this card is your answer!!
Watercolour backgrounds are fun to create…but you might not have the right supplies, or you haven’t quite got the hang of it yet.
Here’s a hint though: Take a peek at this post to see how you can WOW them with the easiest watercolour background you can make!
Unfortunately, sympathy cards are an oft-requested design from my crafting community. It seems we always have a need for cards of condolence, yet we often are unsure how to make one.
A watercolour background makes the ideal choice for these types of cards.
And this is a beautiful one to convey your message to both ladies or men.

It’s hard to believe this paper comes pre-watercoloured like that, isn’t it? So not a paintbrush in sight! 😋
You’ll find it in my store called Dainty Flowers. And it’s only available while supplies last or at the most, until February 28th, 2023.
And what’s even better? It’s free right now with a $60 Cdn order with me!I
I show you all the designs in the free package in the video so be sure to check it out.
How to Make a Watercolour Card without Lifting a Paint Brush

Now let’s take a closer look at our card.
The embossed white is delicate, but still easily seen on the card. And the greeting is understated and totally ties in with the paper.
The soft colour around the edges of the label is added with our new blending brushes. It takes away some of the starkness of the white when it’s paired with the beautiful watercolour background.

Let’s see the card I made in the video up close too to see the variety of this paper.
