It’s time to say good bye to Magenta Madness, one of the brightest and cheeriest colours in our lineup. It’s an In Color and we’ve had it in our suite of colour offerings for two years. And now it’s being retired.

But it’s not too late to get some if you love it’s punch and POW!

Look how extra bright and cheery it is in this fun card!

Lots of bright colour makes this a fun card!

Punches, great dies, cool colours and some matching embellishments make this a super sunny card to send a friend! And if they need cheering up, they can’t help but smile!

The little cactus comes from the Cactus Cuties bundle in the January to June Mini Catalogue. With all the wonderful things in that catalogue, you might have overlooked it like I did at first.

So I wanted to show you a fun card you can make with the stamps and builder punch and bold In Colors.

Actually of the colours you see on this card, Magenta Madness isn’t the only one saying “See Ya Later”! Also retiring is the Just Jade green and the Cinnamon Cider brown (which I am really going to miss).

Now what exactly is an In Color?

Every year Stampin’ Up! introduces 5 on trend colours in the new Annual Catalogue. These will remain in its colour offerings for two years and then they retire.

This way, we always have the latest colours making headlines in our society, culture and environment.

Look how great these retiring In Colors coordinate!

Each colours comes in an ink pad, ink refill, Stampin’ Blends marker, Stampin’ Write marker, cardstock, embellishments, Designer Series Paper, ribbon and usually something extra. It allows us to immediately match our entire card together!

The other day I introduced which 5 In Color will be replacing these ones retiring. You can check them out here.

A Few Other Details

The dies in the background are from the Beautiful Shapes Dies (158046) which are a fantastic set of octagons – and other shapes – nested.

I chose to use all the same size octagon, but played around with the Magenta Madness patterned DSP for a little surprise background.

The punch is a little different than others. It cuts the shape so there is no little rim of white paper around the edge. It took me a bit to get used to, but it’s a super way to create this little cactus plant.

Want to see another Magenta Madness card? Here’s one with an alcohol background. And this is a cool one where two colours combined to make an exotic tropical drink!

If you think you’d use this bright colour as much as I have, a simple click here allows you to order before it’s gone for good.

Remember it’s only available until May 2, 2022 or while supplies last, so you won’t want to delay!

Add a coordinating envelope flap for extra pizzazz!

I’m a little sad to say good bye to Magenta Madness although I do know I will love the 5 brand new colours headed our way soon too!
