I had to hop on and tell you what I love about the 2023 Stampin Up Colour Refresh!

All kinds of fabulous changes!
So many wonderful new tones to add freshness to our paper crafting!
Such a variety of colour combos to liven up our card designs!

Can you tell I’m excited? 😜

If you checked out my earlier Stampin Up colour refresh 2023 post, you already know a bit more about WHY Stampin’ Up! felt it was time for a refresh.

So now let’s dive in and see what it looks like!

So get ready for some changes…but not HUGE ones!

Here are the quick stats you’ll want to know!

  • 11 colours retired
  • 7 prior In Colors added to our core line
  • 4 brand new colours
  • 53 total colours in our colour offerings
  • reshuffle of some of the existing colour families

So some things didn’t change. We still have:

  •  4 colour families of 10
  • 2 sets of In Colors totalling 10
  • 3 BASIC colours (Basic Black, Basic White, and Very Vanilla)

But what DID change?

Which colours are hitting the road?

And of course we’ll be saying a fond farewell to the 2021-23 In Colors.

Now, what’s NEW in the 2023 Stampin Up colour refresh?

First, and expected, the cool and trendy 2023-25 In Colours!

Then how about the colours YOU love making a come-back?

Fresh Freesia wasn’t gone very long, was it?? 😲

And what about the BRAND NEW ones?

Oh my goodness these are luscious!

And here they are, all together in the NEW colour families!

So here’s our new colour families starting May 2nd!

Talk about Eye Candy!! (Only another paper crafter would understand that!)

If you’d like to see a replay of the Facebook Live where I shared all this info (and the retiring items, here it is!

Now what exactly does all this mean for you?

Let’s talk about the 2023 Stampin Up colour Refresh

At first I was a bit nervous about all these changes. (After all…my faves Mango Melody, Sahara Sand and Pear Pizzazz are on their way out and that makes me sad.)

But then I saw all the new shades put together into their new families.

And WOW! Stampin’ Up! has done it again!

These colours are so on-trend!

Fresh palettes! Fun combinations! Awesome choices!

And I can hardly wait to start playing with them!

What Does This Refresh Mean for You?

First know that I absolutely trust in Stampin’ Up!’s decisions. (Even though I have been known to hold onto retired colours in the past 22 years because I loved them, I realize I’ve rarely used them. So they’ll be in my popular Where the Rubber Hits the Road Sale this summer.)

Here’s what I think it means for YOU!

I think this can improve your paper crafting! You’ll…

  • get a colourful shot in the arm! There’s nothing like a fresh new blue, yellow or pink to liven up your designs!
  • have fresh and on-trend shades (to be in tune with home decor and fashion trends)
  • be able to mix and match to make the latest and greatest colour combinations
  • have a chance to tackle your stash of supplies and clear out what you may not use anymore
  • spark your creativity with a bigger choice of products

While I’ve been around long enough to have weathered a few of these refreshes, I know it may feel a little overwhelming for you.

So here’s what I might suggest as a plan of action.

Now what do you need to do next?

  1. Click here to see ALL the retiring items in the Annual and Mini Catalogues, including all the colours.
  2. Decide if you have a favourite colour that’s retiring (take a peek at the new colours and see if that fave changes into an old and soon-to-be replaced fave!)
  3. If you decideyou love it and it’s staying in your stash, check your supplies of ink refill, paper, markers and make sure you’ve got enough to last awhile.
  4. And if you need to replenish, grab your supplies right away.  I’m not kidding!  I really think some of these colours are going to SELL OUT super fast!  (everything in our retiring colours are while supplies last!)

I have lots of other cool things to share with you too.  But I thought I should let this news settle just a little first.  So make sure you keep checking back right here to see all the good stuff!

And I’ll continue to show you exactly what I love about the 2023 Stampin Up Colour Refresh!
